Amid all the drama regarding the transfer situation of Luis Diaz, Liverpool look forward to matching the transfer fee of Champions League winner.
Star winger Luis Diaz has been contemplating his career at Merseyside as he enters the last two years of his contract.
The 28-year-old has been pretty clear with his intentions; either LFC have to improve his contract terms, or he will leave the club; he is equally happy to stay or leave.
With a reported earnings of £50k per week, the Colombian international is unhappy at the disparity between his and other Liverpool attackers’ wages.
And according to Christian Falk of BILD, Bayern Munich, an admirer of the former Porto attacker, are confident in signing him and are willing to pay the Reds a maximum of €60 million (£51.6 million) plus bonuses.
This has been possible due to Diaz informing the Bavarians about his willingness to join them.
Now, Liverpool have a tough job of either retaining him or finding a potential replacement.

If they Reds are to sell Diaz, they are entitled to a fee of around €70 million, similar to what Paris Saint Germain paid to sign Khvicha Kvaratskhelia from Napoli in January.
This demand is absolutely fair considering Kvaratskhelia was a Serie A champion with the Italian giants, even one of the key players, before joining the Parisians.
The Reds winger also won the Premier League title with LFC and his value has increased in the due process with 17 goals and eight assists in 50 games across all competitions in the 2024-25 season (stats via Transermarkt).
Even if the club cannot retain him, Liverpool should not let go of Luis Diaz easily as they have the opportunity to make out of any potential deal.
